Research ETFs and investment managers’ holdings in Claude and ChatGPT

Connect Vestiio to Claude or ChatGPT to compare ETF holdings, see how much funds overlap and look up what well-known investment managers reported owning. Your assistant gets Vestiio’s published figures with dates and links, so you can check them.

You need no Vestiio account. The connection gives your assistant Vestiio’s public research only. It can’t see your own portfolio, and connecting one isn’t available yet.

Assistants can already search the web, which turns up pages to read. Vestiio’s tools hand over the figures themselves: the overlap of two funds worked out from their own SEC filings, a manager’s positions and what changed since the quarter before, or a dividend or return calculation with its assumptions stated. A fund’s holdings and a manager’s positions come with the date of the filing behind them and a link to the page that shows them.

What comes back

Ask how much VOO and QQQ overlap, and this is what Vestiio’s compare tool returned on 1 October 2026:

54.5%of each fund’s money is invested the same way
88companies held by both
30 June 2026period of both funds’ SEC filings

NVIDIA accounts for 7.5 points of that overlap, Apple for 6.6 and Microsoft for 4.3. The answer links to the VOO against QQQ page, which shows the same figures.

Your assistant writes its reply around figures like these. It can still add its own reading or get something wrong, so check any number that matters on the linked page.

More to ask

  • What does SCHD hold, and what has it paid per share each year?
  • Assuming SCHD’s payout and price stay where they are today, what would $10,000 pay in year ten with every dividend reinvested? Show the assumptions.
  • What changed in Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway holdings between its last two 13F filings?
  • Where is the US economy on the growth and inflation map?
  • My portfolio was worth 100,000 on 1 January 2025, 90,000 just before I added 10,000 on 1 July, and 115,000 on 1 January 2026. What were my time-weighted and money-weighted returns?

What we keep

For each call, Vestiio adds one to a daily count per tool, assistant family and outcome, to see whether the connection is useful to anyone. The count holds no IP address, no question and no answer. Like any request to vestiio.com, a call also passes through our content delivery network and web server, whose technical logs the privacy policy describes. What your assistant does with an answer is covered by that assistant’s own terms.

Nothing here is investment advice. The tools report what funds hold and what managers filed. What you do with that is your call.

Try your first question

Connect Vestiio, then ask:

First question Use Vestiio to compare VOO and QQQ. Show their overlap, the largest shared holdings and the date of each fund’s holdings.

The example is what Vestiio’s compare tool returned for VOO and QQQ on 1 October 2026, from both funds’ SEC Form N-PORT filings for the period ending 30 June 2026; the VOO against QQQ page shows the same figures. The Claude steps are from Anthropic’s page “Add a connector that isn’t in the directory”, and the ChatGPT steps and plans from OpenAI’s plugin quickstart and its “ChatGPT Developer mode” guide, all read on 1 October 2026.
